Terms & Conditions

A valid credit card is required to guarantee all online bookings. We accept all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard and American Express. This card may also be used for any charges remaining unpaid on check out.
Check in is from 2pm. Your room may be available prior to this time, however we cannot guarantee access before 2pm. Check out is 10am. Early check in or late check out may be available by arrangement subject to availability, extra charges may occur.


By agreeing to these terms and conditions you acknowledge that the named guest will be personally liable for all accommodation and incidental costs charged to the room after check in, for any loss or damage to the room during their stay, for any cancellation or non-arrival fees, and for any debt collection costs incurred.


CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations or changes to bookings for rooms must be made at least 24 hours (2pm) prior to the check in date and time or you will be charged the full amount of the booking for the first night from the credit card provided.


NON-SMOKING
In the event of any physical evidence, or residual odour, which indicates that smoking of any form has taken place inside a guest room, a charge of $250 will be made against the credit card provided to the motel at the time of making the booking and/or at the time of checking in.  This charge will cover the cost of steam cleaning the carpet and other soft furnishings, and of laundering all bedding.


ZERO TOLERANCE PARTY POLICY
In the interests of quiet enjoyment and respect for all guests at the motel, a no party policy applies to all guests staying at the property.  Guests are expected to be respectful of other guests at all times, and to be quiet between 9pm and 7am.  No group congregations in individual guest rooms is permitted or tolerated.  Immediate eviction with no refund applies to any breaches of this policy.


PETS
With the exception of Sight and Hearing assistance dogs, all pets are strictly forbidden inside guest rooms.  

Any guests breaching this rule will face immediate eviction and a $200 cleaning fee for carpet and any soft furnishings effected.
Pets in vehicles may only be permitted by prior specific arrangement.


PROPERTY DAMAGE
Any damage to motel property, whether accidental or wilful, is the responsibility of the registered guest for each particular room.  Any costs associated with repairs and/or replacement will be charged to the credit card of the registered guest.  In extreme cases, criminal charges will be pursued.


MANAGERS DISCRETION
Management is entitled to exercise discretion and either revoke a booking or resell a room in the following instances:
If a guest arrives to check-in in an intoxicated or disruptive state
Has not confirmed the booking or forwarded deposit monies by the required date
Fails to arrive within a reasonable time of the advised ETA.  The onus is on the guest to advise of any delays for arrival time.
Group Bookings will be accepted at the discretion of the managers after an assessment has been made as to any likely disruption to other guests.


The owners of the premises will not be liable for damage or loss of guest property.

REFUND POLICY
For a stay of 1 night that is cancelled within the 48hrs of the booking you will not receive a refund.
For a stay of 2 or more night that are cancelled within the 48hrs of the booking. You will be eligible for a refund for all night except the first night.

 

Refunds will be processed within 7 days of the cancellation.

Payments will not be processed any early than 48hr prior to booking.


Any changes to bookings for rooms must be made at least 48 hours prior to the check in date and time or you will be charged the full amount of the booking for the first night from the credit card provided.

Our Privacy Policy

Use of your Personal Information.
We may use your Personal Information for the following purposes:

  • To manage your reservation and booking.

  • To manage your stay at our hotels.

  • To improve our services including to better understand your needs and requests and to tailor our products and services to better suit your desires.

  • To send you emails, newsletters, promotions and marketing material about offers at our partner organisations or to contact you by telephone.

  • To secure and improve your use of our services.

  •  To comply with any obligations imposed on us by law.

Collection of Personal Information
We may collect information from you which is:

  • General information:  this is information which is anonymous data that we use to analyse trends for general use and to help us understand the needs of our customers so that we can improve the quality of your stay with us.  General information includes the number of room nights booked and used, where guests are from, room rates, age, gender, purpose of travel and whether the booking is made by telephone, through a booking agency or through our website and services used by guests during their stay our hotel/s.

  • Personal information:  Personal Information is any information that personally identifies you such as your name, age and date of birth, home address, contact telephone numbers and email address, your driver’s licence and passport, your credit card details, your company name if the travel is for business purposes, your car registration number and how the account will be settled.  We may obtain from you whether you have any dietary requirements, room preferences, disabilities, or other lifestyle information.  While staying with us, we may record the number of times you have stayed, telephone numbers dialled, movies watched, room service ordered, third party bookings which we arrange at your request such as tours and other information you supply to us. Personal information may be collected from you if you make an enquiry by telephone, email, via our websites, when you make a reservation or at the time of check in or check out or as a result of your dealings with us during your stay at our hotel/s. Personal information may be collected from a partner organisation, booking agency, a tour operator or an internet reservation system to whom you have provided your Personal Information to make a booking at our hotel/s. Personal information may also be collected from you if you enter a competition run by us, if you reply to a survey conducted by us, in communications with us or our staff, before, during or after your stay or if you attend an event or function at our hotels. Hillston Motor Inn on High uses social media to communicate with guests and the public at large.  Any information which you disclose to Hillston Motor Inn on High through social media may be collected by Hillston Motor Inn on High. Hillston Motor Inn on High monitors public areas of our hotels by close circuit television and may collect information about you as a result. We may also collect Personal Information from you if the law requires us to collect that information.

To provide you with our services, we keep track of how you interact with links. This includes links in emails we send you and links that appear on our website.


The following information is logged for statistical purposes when you look at our website;

Hillston Motor Inn on High will not collect sensitive information from you without your consent.  If we collect sensitive information from you, we will disclose to you the reason for seeking it.


Sharing and Dealing with your Personal Information
If you provide Personal Information to us we will only use or disclose that information for the purposes of our business unless:

  • You consent to the use or disclosure of your Personal Information; or

  • You would reasonably expect that we will use or disclose your Personal Information for that purpose as, for example, making a booking on your behalf with an external service provider; or

  • As otherwise required by law or permitted by the Australian Privacy Principles.

You can object to us using your Personal Information as described in this Policy.  However, if you do, Hillston Motor Inn on High may not be able to provide you with the service requested or only on conditions such as, for example, requiring a cash deposit or bond if you do not wish to provide your credit card details to our hotel/s.


You may request that you do not receive direct marketing communications from us.  If you make a request, we will respond to that request as soon as reasonably practicable.


You may request that your Personal Information is not provided to our partner organisations.


Hillston Motor Inn on High does not disclose Personal Information to overseas recipients except to booking agencies which you have used to make a booking with our hotels and which require information to confirm or manage your booking with our hotels. In those circumstances Hillston Motor Inn on High will notify the booking agency of Hillston Motor Inn on High’s privacy policy and seek an undertaking from that booking agency that it will comply with Hillston Motor Inn on High’s policy.  The personal information which is provided by Hillston Motor Inn on High to a booking agency is limited to the information required for that purpose of managing your booking.


Cookies
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. Google Analytics uses cookies placed on your computer to help the website analyse how users use the site. A cookie is a small data file that may be placed on the computer of a web user (usually in the browser software folder) the first time a computer visits a web site which operates cookies.  Cookies are necessary to facilitate online transactions and ensure security.  If you do not wish to receive any cookies you may set your browser to refuse cookies.  This may mean you will not be able to take full advantage of our hotel/s services. Hillston Motor Inn on High does not use cookies to keep personal profiles of its customers’ use of the Hillston Motor Inn on High websites, only to determine the current server to which you are connected on.  If your browser is set to refuse cookies, you may not be able to connect to Hillston Motor Inn on High’s websites.


Targeted advertisements
Based on your activities on our website, targeted adverts and internet-based offers in the form of varying display banners may be presented to you whilst browsing. Our partner organisations may also use cookies to gather information based on your browsing interests and activities to provide you with advertising.


Protection of your Personal Information
We are committed to take reasonable precautions to protect the security of your Personal Information.  This includes limiting access to our computer systems by use of passwords and other security devices and to prevent unauthorized access, modification, use or disclosure and backup systems to prevent accidental or malicious loss of data or information.
We will take such steps as are reasonable to destroy any Personal Information that we have about you if there is no longer any need for us to keep that information.


How you can access, correct or delete your Personal Information
We will take reasonable steps to ensure that any information which we hold about you and use is accurate, up to date, complete and relevant. Please keep in mind if you make a request to delete your Personal Information and that Personal Information is necessary for our services you wish to purchase, the request will be honoured unless it is a requirement for legitimate business purposes or legal and contractual record keeping purposes.


We will provide you with access to any Personal Information that we hold about you without charge.

Anonymity and Pseudonymity
If you wish to stay in our hotels on an anonymous basis, we may be able to accommodate your request, but we cannot guarantee it.  You will not be able to make a booking in advance.


At the time of check in, if you do not wish to provide credit card details, you must pay for the cost of your stay in full in advance and you will be required to pay in cash a bond on account of services or facilities that are provided to you during your stay at our hotel/s.  The cash bond will be refunded to you on your departure provided that your room is left in good order and you have paid for all services supplied by our hotels and there are no other outstanding liabilities such as mini bar.

 

Age Restrictions
We do not knowingly collect personal information from or target individuals under the age of 18. If you are a parent or legal guardian and know of or have reason to believe your children under the age of 18 have provided us with personal information without your permission, please contact us.
